Understanding how to connect and disconnect sensors is pretty simple. However, we want to cover what your basic options are just to clear things up a bit more. The more complex your setup, the harder it can be. A person who is just connecting a speed sensor and heart rate monitor will have a much easier time than a couple who are both running Smart Trainers and multiple devices.
Tips and Tricks
1. It is always a good idea to write down your sensor ID's on a piece of paper. The more equipment you have in your pain cave, the more important it is to understand what ID belongs to what sensor.
2. Always make sure your Bluetooth and ANT+ sensor say "ON" when you are connecting. If you are having any ANT+ connection issues with your ANT+ receiver check out our help section: Sensors and Connections.
3. Interference can be a major problem in your pain cave. ANT+, Bluetooth, and your Wifi router all operate at 2.4ghz. Keep that Wifi router away from your pain cave. Check out the article: Improving Sensor Connections.
Scan For Connections
The Sufferfest Training System should auto detect your connection. If you find that connections are not coming up, the first thing you can do is make sure your sensors have fresh batteries are are awake. Any sleeping sensors will not be picked up.
Next, click the "Change Settings", that will give you access to the sensors available in Cadence, Heart Rate, and Power.
