The Minions at Sufferlandrian Services understand that sharing your Suffering with the world is half the fun. This article will walk you through the steps necessary to enable instant sharing of your activities.
Sufferlandrians have six choices to share activity files in The Sufferfest Training System: Final Surge, Garmin, Strava, Today's Plan, Training Peaks, and your personal email. Connecting your accounts is simple.
Enable Sharing - Desktop App
To enable sharing in the desktop app go to the "Settings" tab and then click on "Sharing" on the lefthand side of the screen. You'll then be able to select which platforms you would like to connect with.
You'll be prompted to log in to your selected platforms. Once your login credentials have been verified (and you confirm that you authorize The Sufferfest to send activities) you're ready to go. For users on Windows Devices, you may need to log into Garmin Connect, Strava, or TrainingPeaks using Internet Explorer. The Google Chrome Browser will not work with connecting services.
Sharing When Saving a Workout
When you finish your workout, you will be able to select which platform(s) your ride data is sent to. By default the services that you have linked in your Settings will be highlighted. If you don't wish to share a ride simply click on the icon to change it to gray, that will disable sharing of the ride to that specific platform.
Manually Sharing Completed Activities
You can manually share previously completed activities from the Passport page in the app.
- Go to "Passport"
- Go to your "Activities" and select your workout from the list.
- At the top of the workout summary there will be the option to "Share" your activity.
Enable Sharing - iOS
In the iOS app, simply click on "Settings" at the bottom of the app and then scroll down to "Link Services". Click on the button so that it slides to the right and turns red.
You'll be prompted to log in to your selected platforms. Once your login credentials have been verified (and you confirm that you authorize The Sufferfest to send activities) you're ready to go.

I Still Can't Share My Activity!
If your activities were emailed to you, but they haven't hit other platforms yet, then give them a few hours to get off the couch and get their act together. On rare occasions, there can be delays in updating to other sites.
If you STILL don't see your activity after a few hours you can also try adding a comment to the notes section at the bottom of your activity summary in The Sufferfest App. After you add the comment, try sharing it again using the "Share" button at the top of the workout summary.

Garmin Connect And Training Peaks
If you are sharing to Garmin Connect or Training Peaks, please make sure that you keep the workout names as simple as possible. The activities will not share correctly if you use special characters or emojis in their title.
