BikeERG Connection Options

iOS Bluetooth Desktop (macOS) Bluetooth Desktop ANT+

Note: In order to connect the BikeErg to The Sufferfest Training System App you need the PM5 computer installed on your BikeERG unit.

Ant+ FE-C Setup

Make sure that Ant+ and The Sufferfest App are up and running

  1. Connect your Ant+ dongle to into your iOS, Mac, or Windows device and launch The Sufferfest Training System App.
  2. Select a video from the videos list in The Sufferfest App and click on the Play button.
  3. Now you should see the Ride Check menu.TSTS_Pairing_Menu.png

 Ready the PM5 head unit to broadcast an Ant+ signal

  1. Press the 'Menu' button, Choose 'More Options'1_Press_Menu.jpg
  2. Choose 'Turn Wireless On'2_Turn_Wireless_ON.png
  3. Choose 'Or, Connect with Ant+'3_Or_Connect_with_ANT_.png
  4. Choose 'Ant +FE-C'
  5. 4_ANT__FE-C.png

Note:  Please make sure to select Ant+FE-C.  Any other selection will prevent the PM5 from connecting properly to The Sufferfest App.

The PM5/BikeErg is broadcasting... now connect to The Sufferfest App

  1. Select the 'Power' icon on the Ride Check menu
  2. Choose the 'FE-C Bike Trainer' option that appears and click 'Continue'Power_Meter_Pairing_Complete_.png
  3. Select the 'Cadence' icon on the Ride Check menu
  4. Choose the 'FE-C Bike Trainer' option that appears and click 'Continue'

 

Hit the play button and you are ready to ride!

 

Bluetooth Setup

Note: The PM5 computer should be broadcasting by default when you power on the unit.  If you still have trouble connecting try the Ant+ setup steps above on the PM5 and then see if you can locate the BikeErg Bluetooth connection options in the 'Power' and 'Cadence' menus of the Ride Check menu.

The PM5/BikeERG is broadcasting... now connect to The Sufferfest App

  1. Select the 'Power' icon on the Ride Check menu
  2. Select the 'BikeERG' option and click 'Continue'
  3. Select the 'Cadence' icon on the Ride Check menu
  4. Select the 'BikeERG' option and click 'Continue'

Hit the play button and you are ready to ride!
