Can Two (Or More) People Ride At The Same Time?

Group Suffering...

We greatly appreciate those who share the joy of Suffering in The Sufferfest App with their friends but our videos are not meant to be played in a group setting without proper licensing.  You can find the rules on this in our Terms and Conditions.

If you are here out of interest in becoming a licensed SUF Cycling Studio you should drop us a line at for further details.

We Both Subscribe; Can We Ride Together?

Unfortunately, we don't have a system built into The Sufferfest App at this point that will allow you to sync your apps or see both users' data in one instance of the app.  So the official answer is no there isn't a way to ride together.  With that said, if you are quick and precise on the play buttons you should be able to manage a collective ride.

A few tips for such an adventure...

  1. You will need two separate devices to run The Sufferfest app on
  2. Everyone participating should download the video in the app to avoid streaming issues
  3. Rather than use the 'autoplay' feature, which starts the video when you start pedaling, you should both avoid pedaling at the start.  You can override the autopause by pressing the play button in the middle of the video screen.  This will keep the video playing in sync even if someone takes a break from pedaling (not that you would allow that in your pain cave).
  4. Turn the sounds off on one of the devices so that you avoid any weird echoing if one of the devices isn't perfectly in sync.

Of course, the minions are always happy to help so please don't hesitate to shoot us an email at if you have further questions.
