How to Create an Account
** SPECIAL NOTE FOR IOS USERS**: You can create your account on your iOS device, but can still choose to manage your account at app.thesufferfest.com. Please see Creating an account on iOS for all the details.
You can log in if you already have an account, or click on "create an account" to proceed.
You'll need to enter your name and email address and set a password. This email address is how we will communicate with you for help, support and billing. Please make sure the address is valid, and one that you use regularly.
All right- Let's get started!
You will need to enter some personal information in order for the app to be able to tailor training to you as an athlete.
Then, answer some questions about your fitness level. Don't worry if you don't know your FTP or preferred cadence.
There will be more questions and options to choose from.
As I said, don't worry if you don't know.
Once you have everything selected, hit the NEXT button at the bottom of the page to continue. You'll be given your first 4DP profile to get started! The values are probably a little low, we did that on purpose. We want them to be set up so that you can feel resistance in the app, and get a good workout to start, but without being overwhelmed to start. You'll be able to do the 4DP fitness test to get your personalized results, but we want you to get properly connected and familiar with the app before doing that. You'll have better results that way.
On the next screen, you'll be able to set up any other apps that you use to track your fitness. Clicking on CONNECT will have you establish permissions from each of the apps so that we can share your workouts with their platform. Once the connection is established, you'll see it will change to CONNECTED. These settings can be updated and changed in the app under the Settings tab, by selecting Sharing.
Now, let's take the Tour!
The video will give you a brief overview of the app and how to get your devices connected. Be sure to watch!
