Ability to move the on screen data in the new app

Hi.

I'd like the ability to move the on screen data (heart rate/power/cadence/level/speed) as individual components to different parts of the screen and for those positions to be remembered across workouts.

Might be worth providing the ability to reset to default position in case you're just want to get back to the default setting.

Thanks.

    Hi, everyone,

I do have this on our list of feature requests.  I can't say when it will happen as it isn't prioritized at this point but rest assured that I have it written down for all of you.

  • +1 The new position of the data is one of the reasons I moved back to version 5.

  • I actually prefer the new layout, possibly because I’m using Aerobars and casting to TV higher than straight ahead (less neck strain). In yesterday’s tour video (14 Vice Grips) I noticed one notice covered another though (on my iPhone 6S that was casting). How the overlays interact with each other on smaller screens needs a bit of tweaking before considering implementing moving them.

  • Agree - in the middle at the bottom is *always* in the way of the road and reduces the impact of the video.

  • Yeah I requested this in an email, +1 from me!

A snappable grid overlay would be pretty good.

  • Strongly agree with the suggestion, for me the data needs to have free movement I prefer the way it was for version 5). Plus it is on top of the on screen prompts / text.

I guess moving it (from what it was from v5 to v6) gives the perception something has been changed (even though it was just for the sake of it and provides no improvement).

  • I agree with this request - I also sent a separate email suggesting it.

I find the graph and numerics at the bottom of the page to be too large - they cover parts of the video that I'm watching. I think the numerics were fine at the top of the screen...bit giving the user a placement option would be good.

I also can't find the KJ numbers anymore - are they there somewhere and I'm just missing them?

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

  • My suggestion for this was an overlay grid that allows you to move the blocks around the screen where you want, with or without snapping. Can't find the thread now so perhaps I emailed it in..
