Training plans and periodization
Question about consecutive training plans.
Now that summer's ending I'm looking ahead to planning for the fall/winter leading up to next season. Should I be aiming to use Sufferfest plans to duplicate the base/build/peak/taper/off season approach - or can you just keep running Sufferfest plans consecutively all year?

To clarify - I know the approach is not to do long slow distance over the winter - but I wondered if it's recommended to include low-effort recovery periods in the calendar.
