Full Frontal as a workout

OK, Maybe I'm crazy but, given that my training plan is based on Full Frontal, could I use Full Frontal as a workout in erg mode at any point in my plan. I've already proved I can do it and, if I'm truly making progress, it would seem logical to me to give it a whirl every now and again using those same power readings from the previous test.

Or maybe do them at 90%?

  • If you are going to do it be sure you have some rest days after.  Also why not just do it on level mode that way if you are improving your targets can update?

    If you are training to improve a specific area, it would probable be better to pick workouts that focus on that area but, the 4DP is a good all over workout if you just want to destroy yourself.
