Offline Use

I'm traveling and knew I would have limited Internet access. So I printed my calendar and downloaded all the videos (yoga and cycling) I would need to my desktop computer. I copied the downloads to an external drive and then copied them to my laptop. They are in C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\TheSufferfest\videos. I followed the instructions here: https://support.thesufferfest.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360003024176-Offline-and-no-phone-coverage

When I click on the calendar to play a video nothing happens although the cursor changes to a selector. If I click on the workout in the workout tab I get "Warning: Cannot play while offline". Have I done something wrong? Did I have to download the videos I needed using my laptop? That seems awkward. How can I fix this now that I'm away?

  • Hi Fred, I'm terribly sorry for the frustration! The videos are encrypted and you need to download them directly in the app that you are going to use while traveling. They can't be transferred to another device. Do you have any chance to connect to wifi while traveling? I'm afraid that's the only way you'll be able to get videos downloaded to the app so that you can use them offline.

  • I think there should be a way to do this and still protect against pirating.  In any case, the directions for using Sufferfest offline (which I have paid for a full year in advance) should make this very clear!
